Top 10 Bangkok Hotels with Incredible Rooftop Infinity Pools
Bangkok is one of my favourite cities in Asia—I’ve visited over 10 times and keep coming back whenever I need a relaxing getaway.
It’s my go-to holiday destination because of the amazing yet affordable hotels where you can unwind and swim while enjoying incredible views.
Although Bangkok has plenty of great hotels with rooftops pools, not all of them offer infinity pools.
To be honest, the views here are absolutely stunning, and there’s nothing quite like taking a swim while soaking in the panoramic scenery.
Wondering when to visit Bangkok?
Here’s a quick overview of the ideal travel seasons!
Based on years of weather reports and my own travel experiences, the best time to visit Bangkok is from November to February (with temperatures ranging from 24 to 32°C), when the weather is cooler and drier, making it perfect for sightseeing.
However, keep in mind that this is peak tourist season, so you can expect higher prices and larger crowds.
Hot Season (March to June):
This time can be very hot, with average temperatures between 30 and 40°C. It’s great for lounging by the pool, visiting rooftop bars, shopping, and enjoying the Songkran festival in April.
Rainy Season (July to October):
Expect regular rain (and by that, I mean heavy downpours) and high humidity.
However, this season tends to be quieter, with lower hotel rates, making it ideal for indoor activities.
(Erin’s tip)
When it comes to accommodation in Thailand, I recommend looking for hotels in Bangkok that are conveniently located for transportation.
The traffic in Bangkok can be very congested, so it's best to find a place near BTS/MRT stations.
A Quick Guide to Understanding MRT and BTS
If you're planning a trip to Bangkok, it's essential to understand the difference between the MRT and BTS transportation systems.
These two are the primary forms of transportation in Bangkok.
MRT:
It is an underground subway system that runs from Bang Sue to Hua Lamphong, connecting northern and southern Bangkok.
BTS:
Launched in December 1999, the BTS is an elevated rapid transit system, commonly known as the Sky Train.
